How to go from to with PS7


I took this picture of Katie Holmes.

1. Crop the image to 100x100 and sharpen it. Just do whatever you usually when you start making an icon. Now copy the base and set it to screen -->

2. Copy the base twice. Set the first one to screen 100%. Set the second one to screen as well, check the opacity if it turns out too bright. Desaturate the second copy. -->

3. Create a new layer. Fill in #E2F5CC and set it to color burn 100% -->

4. Now take this texture made by me and set it to multiply 100% Erase some parts that cover the face if necessary. -->

5. Copy the base again and drag it to the top. Set it to softlight 50% -->

6. Add some text, brushes or anything else you like -->

7. Now take this light texture made by me and set it to screen 100%.
Move it around as you like and you are finished :) -->
