The Pecten Squash Club was originally formed in 1980 as one of the sub-sections of the Pecten Club to promote the playing of squash within the Shell organisation.  This has now extended to contractors working within the Shell organisation plus their wives and family.  Pecten Squash receive a budget from Shell, augmented by membership fees (currently £5!) in order to facilitate a range of squash playing activities. 

Pecten Squash Club is affiliated to Grampian Squash (and also to Scottish Squash). This allows the club to compete in local leagues and access to the benefits of membership to the governing body of the sport. 

We have 2 squash courts at the Tullos site and one glass court at Woodbank.  The Tullos courts are free to club members and there is a nominal charge of £2.50 for the court at Woodbank.  Both locations are bookable by contacting Woodbank on 01224 882022.

The Club has a well-established Mini-League catering for players of all abilities and ages, with several competitions throughout the season to allow you to test your skills if you wish to participate.

There are a number of ladies and gents teams in the Grampian Squash League and we have Coaches available to newer member of the teams keen on progressing their skills.
