The Pioneer solution consists of three applications:
Product Name: Pioneer Server Application
Product Description: The server application is the main
component of Pioneer. All traffic information is gathered on the
server and routing is calculated on it as well.
It allows for live traffic monitoring, traffic simulation, city
planning and shows statistics about cars, streets and the city as
such.
Product Name: Pioneer Client Application
Product Description: The client application is running on a
mobile device and connects to the server in order to retrieve
routes.
It sends the current position of the car to the server and therefore
contributes to the live data.
Product Name: Pioneer Anywhere
Product Description: Pioneer Anywhere is a Silverlight
application that is used to enable users to retrieve traffic
sensitive routes from their web browser.
In this way, we also help people who do not have a navigation
system. Also, people can test the system online before buying it.
